Wahat Al Sahraa Laboratory was established in 2006 with a vision to develop a research and development wing in the Desert Group. Initially, it was incepted with a small microscope with the futuristic vision of management, Wahat Al Sahraa Nurseries, Desert Group, Dubai, UAE.

Now it is taking a pride of having four fully established departments of Plant Protection, Plant Nutrition, Plant Biotechnology and Marketing Research. Laboratory is completely facilitated with the latest top class equipment in all the departments and a newly developed plant molecular disease diagnosis centre in the department of Plant Protection with the latest available DNA technology.
