Offering Clad Metals & Metal Foils
Ultra Thin Metal Foils Metal foils are mainly produced to customer specifications for specific applications. We have defined foils as strip with a thickness of less than 0, 1 mm down to 0, 001 mm. Foils can be made from pure metals, (nickel-)alloys but also stainless steel can be supplied on request. Applications include various fields of electrical engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering and instrumentation, measuring technology. Many of these foils open up new potential in the development and production of conventional components
Typical applications:
Membranes for security technology;
Measuring gauge strips to extreme close tolerances;
Compensating foils for machine-building purposes;
Foil resistors and strain-gauge ribbons;
Shielding properties (magnetic fields or x-ray radiations)
DELIVERY CONDITIONS:Foils are supplied either in the as-rolled condition or heat- treated. Special heat treatment processes can be applied to create specific properties in the end product.
